I had a client contact me at WilkesWorks.ca to construct a privacy fence in Burlington. The purpose of the fence was to hide pool equipment and the finished product was a custom wood fence the client loved. I have built privacy fences in the past but they have always been vertical. This project was the first horizontal privacy fence. It looked great and was fun to build!
I used pressure treated wood to keep the costs down at the client’s request. As a carpenter I knew to use deck boards for material instead of traditional fencing. Deck boards don’t warp as much as fence boards. I used post caps to finish the look of the fence. As always, I enjoyed working close to home in Burlington.
