I got to “beat the heat” this past week and began work on renovating a basement in Burlington. As a carpenter, it is exciting to see the renovation take place with the framing and insulation. These are the first steps to creating a custom basement and complete renovation. Next on the list: drywall, painting, flooring, baseboard and trim leading to the complete remodelling of the basement. Working closely with the client every step of the way and adjusting as necessary to ensure the clients vision is met. Ultimate goal… a complete custom basement renovation the client loves!
The client lives just down the street from me in Burlington. His daughter goes to the same school as my daughter. I love working on home renovations in my own neighbourhood. As a carpenter I enjoy the range of work my trade takes me to. Variety is the spice of life…last week I worked outside on a deck in the beautiful outdoors in Oakville and this week I am in the process of creating a custom living space in a cool basement in Burlington.
